Locational Logic

The visualiser defaults to Goostrey, Cheshire (53.23°N). The "Detect My Horizon" feature utilizes the browser's Geolocation API to override these coordinates. City name retrieval is handled via a reverse geocoding lookup to Nominatim (OpenStreetMap).

Spine-Facing Rotation

All radial text elements monitor their hemisphere. Orientations flip at the 12:00 meridian to ensure baselines always face the central vertical axis, preserving upright legibility throughout the 24-hour cycle.
