Professional Summary
I'm a transformation and programme leader with over 25 years of experience delivering change across industries. I help organisations navigate complex change — regardless of industry, size, or sector. Different contexts, same fundamentals: people, process, technology.
My career has taken me across publishing, higher education, professional services, not-for-profit, and housing. I've led large-scale digital transformations, built direct-to-consumer channels, and guided teams through the practical realities of adopting emerging technologies like AI.
What I Do
I specialise in bridging the gap between the strategy (leadership) and execution (the customers). Whether it's leading a programme of work, setting up a new capability, or helping a team adopt new ways of working, I focus on making change stick.
I'm particularly interested in how AI is reshaping the way we work — not from a theoretical perspective, but from a practical one. How do you actually integrate these tools into your team's workflow? How do you measure the value? How do you manage the risks? How do we encourage safe and effective use?
Those questions are the subject of most of what I write, and of a free course on AI architecture I built for the people who have to make these decisions.
Beyond Work
When I'm not working, you'll find me in Cheshire - well placed for working with organisations across Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, and the wider North West. I live here with my family. I'm a Squirrels leader in the local Scouts group, an active member of the community, and enjoy exploring the countryside.
